Over mij

Born as the son of a forester on the Brunssumerheide, my love for the outdoors was kindled early. I enjoy hiking in the summer and ski tours in the winter. I recognized group dynamics early without seeing the bigger picture, through experiences with four sisters, association life, study groups, outdoor sports groups, and later my own family in Wageningen. I continued to study interdisciplinary teams, patient groups, meditation groups, and martial arts groups, where interaction between people could be either helpful or inhibitive.

The differences between people often trigger habitual behavior, which can be either beneficial or counterproductive. Whether in relationships, families, groups, or organizations, similar patterns of behavior and stages of development are recognizable. My expertise involves learning to deal with differences and similarities at various development stages within such groups, creating room for personal, joint, and business growth. I work experientially, blending theory with current psycho-physical experience sessions in the group, focusing on the here-and-now to work with what lives in the group, often leading to surprising paths.

Since 1992, I have been working as a BIG registered physiotherapist, group therapist, team coach, and educator in healthcare and education. After a walking sabbatical, I now offer my knowledge and skills to groups dealing with transition issues, concentrating on team effectiveness and exploring interpersonal dynamics. I am currently completing training as a licensed SCT® practitioner and am a member of SCTRI, NVGP, and KNGF. Additionally, I have extensive experience in various management and board positions, including medical staff, department chairman, project leader, MT member, and treasurer.
